Just Dreams

I saw The Number 23 a few days ago (on the 23rd, opening day). I liked the movie, despite the bad reviews it got. The plot was interesting, with nice twists and an unexpected ending. I thought Jim Carrey did a good job in the movie, it shows he can perform well in non comedic roles. Overall I thought it was a good movie and I recommend it, in spite of its reviews.

What’s funny is that once we left the theater, we kept finding instances of the number 23. It was pretty wild!

• The parking garage’s address number had 23 in it.
• The odometer on our car was 23k.
• The car in front of us was a Mercedes-Benz ML 320 (3 + 20 = 23).
• The time added up to 23.
• Our birthdays mathematically came out to 23.
